Da’wah Subcommittee

The Da’wah subcommittee strives to educate the general public (Muslims and non-Muslims) about the teachings of Islam as was presented by the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessing of Allah be upon him).
Information tables are stationed throughout campus at least once a week, throughout the fall and winter semesters.
This is all possible thanks to the hard work and dedication of people like yourself, who give up their time doing something important.

Information includes:

  • Who is Allah (SwT)
  • Who is Muhammad (pbuh)
  • What is Islam
  • Other Prophets in Islam: Ibrahim, Moses, Jesus, and many others
  • Women in Islam
  • Islam and Terrorism, and Jihad

Volunteer Requirement: Da’wah Training

This is organized by the U of A MSA, as well as other organizations. Training is important as it teaches the etiquette of giving da’wah, namely how one should behave when speaking to others, as well as other pertinent information. Contact us at [email protected] for more information.
